United Kingdom Mechanical Design Engineer
Full Time (40hrs per week)
Based at Dunkeswell
Up to £48,000pa dependent on qualifications and experience

Key Responsibilities
- Component and assembly design from concept to production in an automotive environment using CAD.
- Produce designs to meet the agreed requirements to time and within hours specified.
- Maintain accurate design records and maintain drawing issue control.
- Use the PDM system to store and issue drawings.
- Revise or amend existing designs and drawings to meet new requirements.
- Work with the Project Engineer and other team members to provide the best output.
- Liaise with suppliers in order to source new components.
- Assess prototype components for correct fit and function.
