United Kingdom Project Engineer
Full Time (40hrs per week)
Based at Dunkeswell
Up to £45,000pa dependent on experience

The heart and head of any engineering project is the Project engineer. Pulls all the engineering activity into a deliverable plan of action. Works closely with the Project managers and advises them on all engineering matters in their project plan, in order to deliver on time, on budget and to standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Must be able to translate the Customers requirements to deliverable engineering tasks. Working hand in hand with the Project manager you will take the plan through to production.
- Work closely with Design engineers and build teams to draw, plan and deliver a manufactured product to the customer. Design work, checking a fault finding drawings along with practical testing of parts and systems will be a daily event.
- Needs to be flexible and adaptive to manage the design team to a shared and understood version of the customers’ requirements. This will be done in line with quality and assurance standards and supported by senior Project and principal engineers.
- Must have a high level of automotive engineering understanding, across all aspects of the design and build. From the first concept drawing to final testing and hand over to the customer you will be involved.
- High level of communication skills and influence internally to SC Group and with external agencies.
