OXE Production Line

OXE Diesel

Why outboard instead of inboard?

Outboard engines are far quicker, cheaper, and more cost-effective to install than inboard engines, reducing the overall price of the boat build. Daily checks and service items are also far more accessible, ensuring efficient operational running.

Why diesel over petrol?

OXE diesel outboards are 40% more fuel efficient than comparable petrol outboards. This also increases the vessel’s range by 60%, decreasing the number of times the vessel needs to refuel, increasing operational efficiency, and saving the owner money. Commercial vessels often work in more remote areas where diesel is far more accessible. Highly flammable petrol does not have to be stored at greater risk.

Why OXE?

OXE outboards supplied by Proteum have the widest range of engine specifications currently available in the diesel outboard market, from 150hp to 175hp, 200hp, and 300hp. This range of power enables boat builders to fit either single twin or triple installations across a wider range of boat designs, offering their customers choice and flexibility.
