Engineer Ben Lord experiences Finnish hospitality while training with Alamarin Jet.
Proteum engineer Ben Lord has recently returned from Harma, Finland, after a four-day training at the Alamarin factory. He was there to learn the latest updates to the water jets and SIGMA control system developed in-house by Alamarin. Ben passionately emphasized the importance of staying updated in our field, saying, “It’s not just crucial, it’s our responsibility as engineers to keep abreast of the latest developments from the manufacturers we support. Alamarin’s training facility is top-notch, and it was inspiring to meet other global distributors to share experiences and ideas.”
Alamarin has recently introduced the Omega37, the second jet in the Omega range, to complement the Omega42. The Omega37, designed for fast planning craft, boasts a maximum input of 1360hp. Despite its power, the O37 weighs just 750kg. It features unique characteristics such as Dual Angle Shaft DAS, Frame Integrated Bearing Structure FIBS, Modular Intake Geometry MIG, and a structural bulkhead adaptor. These features not only make the Omega37 stand out, but also ensure a more efficient installation and through-life servicing, ultimately reducing costs and providing you with a reliable and cost-effective solution.
