Project Engineer

Full Time – 40 Hrs per week Based at Dunkeswell Up to £45,000pa dependent on experience As a Supacat Limited employee you should work as part of the team, being flexible in your approach to your work, fulfilling any reasonable request to do any task that arises and is within your capability. The heart and head of any engineering project is the Project engineer.  Pulls all the engineering activity into a deliverable plan of action.  Works closely with the Project managers and advises them on all engineering matters in their project plan, in order to deliver on time, on budget and to standard. Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to translate the Customers requirements to deliverable engineering tasks. Working hand in hand with the Project manager you will take the plan through to production.
• Work closely with Design engineers and build teams to draw, plan and deliver a manufactured product to the customer.  Design work, checking a fault finding drawings along with practical testing of parts and systems will be a daily event.
• Needs to be flexible and adaptive to manage the design team to a shared and understood version of the customers’ requirements.  This will be done in line with quality and assurance standards and supported by senior Project and principal engineers.
• Must have a high level of automotive engineering understanding, across all aspects of the design and build.  From the first concept drawing to final testing and hand over to the customer you will be involved.
• High level of communication skills and influence internally to SC Group and with external agencies.

Senior Analyst

Full Time – 40 Hrs per week Based at Dunkeswell Up to £64,000pa dependent on experience. As a Supacat Limited employee you should work as part of the team, being flexible in your approach to your work, fulfilling any reasonable request to do any task that arises and is within your capability. A senior appointment leading a team of systems and safety analysts.  The position is key to the safe and assured delivery of the companies’ programs and projects.  Use of analysis software tools, software and calculation to assure the outputs of a fast moving and flexible engineering design team.  You will be working on a variety of programs and projects from large scale MOD Contracted vehicles to internal innovation projects.  There is always room for growth and personal development with a great benefits package as you work in a close-knit design and manufacture team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Analysts to assure the delivery of SC Group designs through to manufacture.
• Self-motivated and manage your own workflow and that of your team.
• Must have the ability to work on a variety of challenging projects and products with no two days being the same.
• Ability to learn new skills as the company grows and needs new and improved testing and analysis tools.
• High level of communication skills and influence internally to SC Group and with external agencies.

 

Technical Author

Full Time – 40 Hrs per week Based at Dunkeswell Up to £45,000pa dependent on experience As a Supacat Limited employee you should work as part of the team, being flexible in your approach to your work, fulfilling any reasonable request to do any task that arises and is within your capability. The Technical Author is a key role within the business.  The publications and drawing delivered by the Through Life Support team are the pictorial and factual documents required for the customer to use the product, safely and in the best possible way.  Attention to detail, high standards and a flexible approach are all essential.  You will be working on a variety of programs and projects from large scale MOD Contracted vehicles to internal innovation projects.  There is always room for growth and personal development with a great benefits package as you work in a close-knit design and manufacture team. • Authoring of publications and content essential to the end user.
• Produce technical illustrations for a variety of programs and projects.
• Self-motivated and manage your own workflow, in support of the design and project teams.
• Assist and advise on product and company design and advertising materials.
• High level of communication skills and influence internally to SC Group and with external agencies.
